Life Duel

Conway's Game of Life for two. Take turns nudging the colony, then watch a generation play out. Last color standing wins.

How to play

  1. You're blue or red. On your turn, make one move:
    • Kill any live cell, yours or theirs, or
    • Birth: sacrifice two of your cells to create one of yours on any empty square.
  2. Then the board advances one generation. A cell with 2 or 3 neighbors survives. An empty square with exactly 3 neighbors comes alive in the majority color of those 3.
  3. Wipe out the other color to win. After 100 turns, whoever has more cells wins.
